Fused 18k Gold Ring

Fusing happens when metal is heated up to its melting temperature, creating interesting textures and allowing pieces to be created without soldering - just plain metal, no weak spots. I love working with fire and the delicate balance needed: enough heat to fuse but not enough for the gold to become a shining pool of metal!

This ring is beautiful and unique - no two will ever be the same, as the metal always reacts in a slightly different fashion. The organic feel of this piece looks good on its own, sandwiched between plain bands or stacked with other rings.

This ring is also a beautiful wedding band for men or women. It can also be customized with a stone of your choice - convo me for options and prices.

This is a solid gold ring
Size custom made between 4 and 9 (larger sizes are available with a small surcharge due to the extra material)
Width - 2mm (0.1 inches) on average, but it can vary along the ring
Estimated weight - 5.0 grams (may vary a little according to size)

To achieve the best quality possible, I prepare all metals myself, with age old recipes for different colours. This assures that there are no strange, allergy causing metals or chemicals, which are more and more common in commercial alloys.
