White Rose Pendant in Sterling Silver

The forged rose is a traditional blacksmith challenge. To forge each petal, giving it texture, shape and delicacy, is not easy. Yet the result is stunning - a perfect rose made from sterling silver hanging around your neck.

It was given an unusual white finish by repeatedly heating the metal and quenching it in acid, to create a layer of pure, fine silver. For contrast, the very edge of each petal was burnished to a bright silver.

Each rose is an unique work of art. Like a real flower, no two will ever be exactly alike.
