Anticlastic forming is developing a shape along two opposite axis: as the bracelet curves down around your wrist, the edges flare up. The result is a surprisingly organic and strong bracelet.
I wanted to show the hammer blows necessary to shape this piece, so, by heating and quenching in acid several times, I brought up a layer of matte, very white fine silver. The hammer strikes burnished some of this silver, creating the interesting textures. And the outer edges have been burnished both for comfort and beauty.
